Adams Hallmark

Big Gift Helps Tiny Hearts

Baby

Adams’ Hallmark has long been a staple of the Kanawha Valley and greater region.  Their family of retail stores are known for warm greeting cards, local chocolates, and gifts to mark any occasion.  The Adams family’s legacy extends beyond retail and their philanthropic spirit will be touching small lives for years to come.

Through a loyalty card program at their stores, customers were able to use their purchasing power to direct donations to a children’s hospital of their choice.  For every 10 greeting cards purchased by a customer, $1 would be donated.  Through this program, Adams’ Hallmark provided a donation of over $2,700 to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital.

Adams’ Hallmark, funds were used to help purchase a dozen NICU stethoscopes that are being used to treat some of CAMC Women and Children Hospital’s smallest patients with big medical problems.  The design of the neonatal stethoscopes allows for a more precise evaluation of the NICU patients and provides the medical staff the appropriate tool to evaluate medical issues.
