The CAMC Foundation was proud to partner with USA Cyclingand the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau for the 2024 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championship held in Charleston, WV, May 14-19, 2024.

As the Official Medical Provider, CAMC medical professionals were on the frontlines of care for the thousands of atheletes, team members, support staff, families, and sepectators who decended upon the Capitol City for this year’s event.  

USA Cycling held their Pro Road National Championship in downtown Charleston.  Additionally, this year the event served as an Olympic Qualifier, in which the top male and top female athlete qualified to race in the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

To celebate this unique opportunity, CAMC Foundation partnered with the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta and the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide helmets for 100 lucky children who were recpients of new bicycles.  In conjunciton with CAMC Trauma Services, each child was outfitted with a properly fitting helmet upon reciept of their new bike.

CAMC Foundation was proud to play a role in this unique event and looks forward to continuing the partnership in years to come.
